Here's a raw recording session of me doing a series of zombie and alien screams, which would later be processed and edited into the zombie and queen alien screams for the game.

M U S I C

I was given a free hand on this project by Producer Rob Rowe. The result was a mutant dnBass style of techno with an alien flavor. I had just inherited a Korg Prophecy so I used the modeling patches for a lot of other-worldly timbres.

Site 4

Title Theme from the Game - Tool-like groove; i.e.. the drums are slow 4 and the Guitars are playing 6/8 over the top. Makes a nice lumber.
Attack the Mall
It's just a short sample, but I'm fond of the guitar line.

Shock Puppets

Urgent sounding tune for zombie humans repelling down a cliff face.  Happens all the time.

Tarmac

This was the first song I made after switching from an "action show" style to a techno style. Still has a bit of Jeanne Parson's original Area 51 score style.

The Hive

Sci-Fi Horror. This tune was used on the letterbox end credits. Used a lot of guitar riffs and analog-produced sound effects to make this as spooky as possible.

Patriotic Propaganda

Starship Troopers Patriotic Newsreel tune.

Sunrise

This is one of my initial sketches based on the style of the first Area 51 game. Folks were originally wanting to stay close to the original for continuity purposes.

Troop Movements Part 1

More original sketches in the Area 51 prequel style

Troop Movements Part 2

Same tune, different loop
