could say it reflects my own musical taste, albeit in an indirect
way....
writing credit goes to John Jenkins and the rest of my friends who
played on the album, not me. I only include it here because it was a great band, and I spent a year of my life playing their music, and it looks like I'm the only person who's gonna ever post it anywhere. Interesting combination of people. A punk drummer who studied at Berkelee, a stuntman on the bass and professionally in real life (Universal Studios), a classical concert pianist, a death-metal/accountabilly (long story, that one) guitar player and a theater performing writer for a singer (another inadequate pigeon-hole, I'm afraid). I apologize for the low-fi music samples. What can I say? We were starving musicians... we reused master tapes to record new stuff. The only surviving recordings are on heat-battered factory cassettes that accidentally survived months on the tour van floorboards! Still thought it was worth the web space! Anyone with a pristine cassette or master SEND ME A RIP! I'll post it. |
